The North West Ambulance Service (NWAS) has been given a glowing report by the Care Quality Commission (CQC) following a routine inspection last month (March).The CQC is the independent regulator of all health and social care services in England and is tasked to ensure that NHS trusts and other care providers meet Government standards of quality and safety.
