Involving our community
We are committed to the principle of effective Patient and
Public Engagement (PPE) and to the development of our services as a
result of this engagement to meet the needs of patients and the
public. Our activities are progressed under the leadership of a
Director of Performance & Patient Experience who provides
Board-level representation for this important area of work.
The Board has established a Communities
Sub-Committee which monitors and scrutinises our PPE activities and
reports to the Board of Directors. Our approach to collecting
feedback from patients on their experience of care and our
commitment to stakeholder engagement is detailed in our
Communications and Engagement Strategy.
As part of this Strategy, we attend a number of community events
across the region to talk to the general public about the role of
the ambulance service. Another way we engage with our community is
by inviting members of the public to become a part of our Trust
by registering as a member, allowing you to have an
active role in the way our service is run.

our communities, please visit the Getting Involved section
