The Directorate’s primary responsibility is to ensure the effective delivery of all aspects of the operational ambulance service to patients and the public of the North West. This is provided through the establishment of five core service lines encompassing a full range of patient and clinical duties. The five core service lines are as follows: These are Paramedic Emergency Services, Clinical Leadership, Urgent Care, NHS 111 and Resilience
