Become a Member

Become a member today: it's free and you can have your say about your local ambulance service.

If you would like to be informed about our plans, or share your views on the future development of the North West Ambulance Service, then please consider becoming a member of the Trust

You can do this too by completing our online membership form and becoming a member today.

What do members do?

In becoming a member you are supporting us - your local ambulance service.

When you join, you tell us how involved you want to be.  From simply receiving our magazine 'Lifeline', full of real life patient stories, health information and features on our staff and our service, to taking part in surveys, discussion groups and attending events - the choice is yours!

Why join?

As one of the largest ambulance services in the country, we cover the populations of Cumbria, Lancashire, Greater Manchester, Merseyside and Cheshire. We hope that you never have to call upon us, but if you do, wouldn't you like to be able to say that you have helped your ambulance service?

Benefits of becoming a member

In becoming a member you are supporting your local ambulance service. In addition, there are benefits for you.

You can:

  • Stay in touch with the latest news from your ambulance service with your 'Lifeline' magazine subscription
  • Help us to give you the service you want and need by having say in your ambulance service through surveys and focus groups
  • See what goes on behind the scenes at members only events
  • Enhance your CV - being a member is looked at favourably on College, University and Job Applications;
  • Access to specialist online discounts, normally only available to NHS staff!
