 'Listening to you'

The Trust welcomes all constructive feedback from its patients, partners and other service users and takes the comments it receives very seriously. After due consideration and wherever possible, action will be taken to modify, enhance or in some cases change the Trust's policies and procedures in order to improve our service delivery.

Some of the modifications and improvements to services as a result of feedback are shown below.

  • Member of the Core Group raised concerns that the Patient Experience Survey which was piloted in Bolton via a tablet PC (handheld, touchscreen PC) was not very accessible to patients who may be visually impaired. The Trust has now changed the survey to a colour and font size which is now deemed to be suitable. October 2010
  • Based on feedback we had from you on the design and format of our Annual Report, we have produced a CD version of the report this year which has fewer full page pictures, a more simple choice of language, celebrates volunteers for the Trust in more detail and included quotes from staff members.
