The press office can divulge basic information about incidents attended by ambulance crews to assist the media in factual reporting and publicise the good work undertaken by staff at NWAS. 

Information provided will comply with patient confidentiality rules, as is common with all NHS organisations. This means the following could be provided:

- Time of incident
- General location 
- Basic injury details
- Staff and resources sent to the scene
- Receiving hospitals

We are unable to provide patient names, addresses, any other information which may lead to the identification of the patient and condition checks for patients admitted to hospital.
