03 Nov 2014 - Christmas Card Competition

With only a few weeks until Christmas, North West Ambulance Service has today launched its Christmas Card Competition in search of the region’s most creative youngsters who can design the Trust’s Christmas Card.

The competition is open to children in two categories; aged 1 – 6 and 7 - 11 and the winning designs will be made into two official NWAS Christmas e-cards which will be put on the Trust’s website and sent to all its friends, colleagues, family, staff and members.

The two winners will receive a £20 gift voucher, certificate and NWAS goodie bag as well as a special visit to their local ambulance station to find out what happens behind the scenes. The prize will be presented at the winner’s school or nursery by the Trust’s very own Trust mascot, Pandamedic – who is busy preparing for what is traditionally the busiest time of year for the ambulance service!

All entries must have the child’s name, age and parent’s contact details on the back and should be on A4 paper, either landscape or portrait. Children can use colouring pencils, felt tips and crayons. The closing date is Friday 28 November with the winner being chosen by the judging panel and announced the following week.

Entries should be sent to: North West Ambulance Service Headquarters, Communications Department, Ladybridge Hall, Chorley New Road, Bolton, BL1 5DD. Alternatively, they can be scanned in and sent by email to: communications@nwas.nhs.uk.
