24 July 2015 - Congratulations to the Lancashire Defibrillator Campaign on Award

Lancashire Defib CampaignNorth West Ambulance Service (NWAS) would like to congratulate the Lancashire Defibrillator Campaign in being awarded with the Queen’s Award for Voluntary Service and their continued commitment to saving lives in Lancashire.

Cheryl Pickstock, NWAS Chain of Survival lead for Lancashire, said: “I would like to extend my congratulations on behalf of NWAS to the Lancashire Defibrillator Campaign (LDC) and to Sue Murrin-Bailey on their Queen’s Award for Voluntary Service. Sue and the LDC play a major role in working with NWAS to promote lifesaving equipment and training in the region. LDC set a precedent to groups and organisations across the North West in providing communities with the skills and the resources to save lives – a big thank you from NWAS for all their efforts.”
