Performance

The Trust continued its achievement of performance throughout the summer of sport in the region and we are pleased to report that for the period of July to September 2012, the Trust achieved a Category A8 minute performance rate of 77.43%, exceeding the Government target of 75%. This target was achieved throughout the North West region as a whole, with individual areas reporting figures of: Greater Manchester 77.09%, Cheshire & Merseyside 77.45% and Cumbria & Lancashire 78.21%.

In the last quarter, the Trust received 190,764 '999' calls, a 3.15% increase on the number of calls received in the same quarter last year. For the month of September, the Trust has reported a performance for Category A on 76.47%.  The current full year to date position demonstrates that NWAS is the best performing service cumulatively in the country.
