Chief Executive Retirement It is with regret that the Trust has to report the early retirement of Chief Executive Bob Williams. Bob started his career in the Ambulance Service over 30 years ago and has worked for NWAS since its formation, and for the last 3 years as Chief Executive. The Service is one of the best performing Ambulance Trusts in the country and continues to go from strength to strength in our improvement of both clinical and staff support developments. Whilst the future is one of continued change in our service delivery and public sector reconfiguration, Bob is confident that the Trust will meet these challenges effectively and will remain a service to be proud of. Arrangements are in place to ensure a successor is in post prior to Bob’s retirement on the 31st March 2016.
