Managers attain Health Service Commanders’ Award

As part of ensuring resilience capability during major incident and or other large scale challenges, 18 managers from across NWAS have attended a higher education led Health Service Commanders’ Award program through the prestigious BPP University.  This award is designed to deliver knowledge and integrated Strategic or Tactical capacity.  The course was designed to broaden out command capability to encompass a wider NHS integrated role.

In addition one of our strategic commanders, Peter Mulcahy received a second accolade from the university as he was one of eight students from across the wide spectrum of all national courses recognised for having excelled within the course as a top achiever with outstanding performance.
