Care Quality Commission Inspection (CQC)

On 10 February 2014, the CQC undertook an unannounced inspection. The inspection was conducted predominantly in the Cheshire and Merseyside area across both the Paramedic Emergency Service and Patient Transport Service delivery. The Trust was found to have met all five standards tested. They included:

  • care and welfare of people who use the service
  • cooperating with others
  • safety, availability and suitability of equipment
  • supporting workers
  • assessing and monitoring the quality of service provision
