FTN Preparation Programme Pilot

The Foundation Trust Network (FTN) has been looking at how they can enhance the support they provide to aspirant trusts through their Preparation Programme. This includes looking at how they more effectively address the challenges facing boards on both corporate and quality governance, and how they can ensure there are more opportunities for trusts to learn from their aspirant and authorised peers. They have been working with key stakeholders, including Monitor, NHS TDA and both aspirant and Foundation Trust colleagues, to develop two new modules which they are now ready to pilot. They have worked with the NHS TDA to put together a list of trusts to take part in these pilots and give them feedback prior to full roll out and they have invited NWAS to be part of that group. The two modules are: NED challenge module and Quality Governance module
