Patient Transport Service
NWAS will be the provider of non-emergency ambulance transport
in the four counties of Lancashire, Cumbria, Cheshire and
Merseyside for 3 years from the 1 April 2013. A commerical
provider will operate this service in the Greater Manchester area
from 1 April 2013 to 31 March 2016. Numerous quality
improvements have been built into the new contract as a result of
feedback from patients and other stakeholders.
