Grahame started with the then-Cumbria Ambulance Service and became a paramedic before progressing to become an Institute of Healthcare and Development clinical instructor, joining the service’s training team. After many years in that role Grahame joined NWAS’ Resilience Team as resilience manager for the Cumbria and Lancashire area.
Jon started as an ambulance cadet in 1981 at the then-Greater Manchester Ambulance Service and worked operationally out of Belle Vue and Deansgate stations before transferring to the then-Lancashire Ambulance Service. Jon made a move into the service’s control room and rose to a management position. In 2007, Jon joined NWAS’ Resilience Team (formerly Emergency Planning Team). In 2012, Jon took up post as Resilience Manager for the Cheshire and Merseyside area where has worked until his retirement.
