We’ve teamed up with professional resilience and wellbeing experts from the Manchester Stress Institute to create and design a tailored digital online programme just for our staff.
Produced following feedback from staff, the programme contains short podcasts and films that aim to help support staff with their resilience, fitness and nutrition, as they continue to work tirelessly at the moment during the current COVID-19 crisis. They are designed to meet the needs of a busy workforce who may only have a few minutes to spare as part of their working day.
The podcasts and films feature professional therapists, a personal trainer, physiotherapist as well as chefs and nutritionists who provide personal wellbeing guidance focusing on an array of different topics depending on individual needs.
Jeannette Jackson, Director of the Manchester Stress Institute, said: “We are delighted to be working with North West Ambulance Service again. We’ve spoken to many front line staff and are aware of some of the incredibly difficult challenges they are facing right now.
“With that in mind we enlisted some of the country’s finest experts in mental and physical health to bring together an online digital 24/7 training programme to help ambulance staff stay physically and mentally fit during this COVID-19 pandemic.”
