Since starting her career in the ambulance service 18 years ago, Advanced Paramedic, Andrea Brown has developed through a number of leadership positions and has graduated with a Master’s degree.

Mum of two, Andrea loves her job and is inspired by the care and compassion she sees every day from her colleagues. She believes it’s important to empower women at all levels of the organisation so that they can use their skills and attributes to help make our ambulance service the best it can be.

As 39 year old Andrea approaches a big birthday this year, she speaks to women thinking about pursuing their dream, “Go for it! The only thing holding you back is often your own self-doubt.”
