Today 66-year-old David from Radcliffe got in touch to say thank you to the emergency crew who helped him when he was suffering from severe abdominal pain.
Finding himself unable to move and in extreme pain at a bus stop in Little Lever on a Friday evening back in August, David also wanted to pass on his thanks to the young people who stopped to help him.
He’s now on the search to find who his everyday heroes are so that he can say thank you.
The teenagers, who were part of a small group believed to be around 18-years-old, helped David by calling an ambulance and waiting with him until help arrived.
David said: “They really were brilliant and I would really like to get back in touch with them to pass on my thanks personally.”
David was later taken to hospital where he was admitted for ten days due to a burst stomach ulcer, he is now recovering well at home.
The incident took place on Church Street, Little Lever on Friday 28 August. If anyone has any details about the people who helped David, please let us know so that we can put them in touch.
