Trevor who lives a couple of doors down from Sale ambulance station has become a familiar face with Team NWAS crews based there. He visits daily and often waits for his ambulance friends to return back to the station after finishing their shifts.
Richard says: “When Trevor last popped by he was under a car and I could see he was injured and in pain, he needed help. I couldn’t get hold of his owners and manged to take him to the local vet. He had been hit by a car and broken his tail bone.
“Trevor has lifted our spirits so much lately, it has been a difficult year and for me personally, Trevor has helped with my depression. He has brought us all closer together at the station giving us a common bond; he’s even charmed those who aren’t too keen on cats! I was mortified when I thought he might not make it and I wanted to repay him by helping him.”
Trevor obviously chose the right friends to make at the ambulance service. Thanks to Richard’s act of kindness and caring nature, Trevor has had an operation to remove his tail and should be back to see his 999 friends in no time.
