Whether you’re an interested member of the public, NHS professional, carer, patient, or healthcare champion, we want to listen to and learn from you. We are hosting a series of events across the five counties of the North West (Cheshire, Merseyside, Greater Manchester, Cumbria and Lancashire) to meet and talk to people who use our services.
Our determined staff continue to care compassionately for the communities we serve whilst the NHS faces ongoing challenges, particularly with hospital handover delays. We have seen how in recent times, our healthcare needs have changed and, as both an emergency service and an NHS trust, we’re looking at how we can adapt and improve.
With this in mind, we are checking in with people in our communities to discuss how effectively we deliver our 999, PTS and 111 services, ensuring we have the right resources in the right place at the right time, to perform to the high standards our patients expect.
We hosted very similar events throughout 2022 and 2023 and used feedback shared at the events to improve our services. One attendee from our Merseyside event said “Thank you so much for inviting me to the community conversation event. I really enjoyed it and understood the services around us. Very useful information. The workshops were fantastic thank you again.”
We will be hosting five FREE community listening events (one per country area) on the following dates, times and locations:
