It’s important to us that everyone who works in the ambulance service is proud of what they do and feels valued and appreciated at all times.
We are committed to recognising the difference and value that all people add to our organisation and we strive to create an environment where everyone can use their skills and abilities to their maximum potential.
Equality for our patients does not mean treating everyone the same - everyone’s needs and concerns are different. It’s about ensuring all patients, no matter their background, have the opportunity to access the services we provide.
The LGBTQ staff network was launched in 2009 to provide a forum for LGBTQ staff to share experiences, provide support and social opportunities, and to help the organisation to understand LGBTQ issues.
