Held on Tuesday 24 February at Aintree Racecourse, the event was packed with people of all ages from young people thinking about future careers to families just curious about what we do. It was great to see so many people getting involved, asking questions, and having a go at new skills.

We were also grateful for the support from our partners, including Merseyside Police, as well as local road and water safety teams, who helped make the day even more engaging.

Throughout the event, visitors got stuck into CPR and first aid demonstrations, met our ambulance crews and control room staff, and found out more about careers, apprenticeships and volunteering. There were plenty of wellbeing tips to take away too along with some freebies and refreshments.

For our next event, we’re heading to Cumbria in April, we’ll release more details when we finanise a date.
