Posted 2nd May 2023

Student Paramedic Krystle Lovell has been shortlisted in the Clinical Apprentice of the Year category at this year's NHS Health and Social Care Apprenticeship Awards.

Student Paramedic Krystle

The Clinical Apprentice Award is given to students who are proving to be a great future investment. They demonstrate all the essential assets to thrive within that department including care and compassion for their patients.

Krystle started with us in 2017 as an Emergency Medical Technician 1. In April 2021, she was accepted onto the Apprentice Paramedic Degree Programme, which she has completed and is now awaiting for her Health and Care Professions Council registration.

When we asked her how she felt when she found out she had been shortlisted, Krystle said, “I was astonished. I am not 100% sure where the nomination has come from, but I have a high index of suspicion my mentor and West Cheshire blue team are behind it. I feel very overwhelmed at the nomination. It will be nice celebrating my achievements over the last two years. All the hard work has paid off and I am about to become a paramedic, which I am immensely proud of.”

The awards ceremony takes place on 19 May. Good luck Krystle!
