The CIPR PRide Awards is the UK’s most prestigious nationwide awards scheme, recognising excellence in public relations and communications across Scotland, Wales, Northern Ireland and six English regions.

At the hybrid awards ceremony, our event was up against some of the North West’s best known PR companies, so we are thrilled with this achievement.

Our Super Star Awards was held in June of this year and was one of our biggest staff events to date. Due to the pandemic, we hadn’t been able to hold our staff recognition event since 2019 so the goal was to go bigger and better, and we certainly achieved that!

With help from our generous sponsors and the NWAS Charity, we were able to pull together an event that both celebrated our hard-working staff but also recognised the difficulties they’d faced and, importantly, paid tribute to those we had sadly lost over the last two years.

Plans are now underway for next year’s Star Awards and after setting the bar so high this year, all eyes are on the Communications Team to deliver an event as good, if not better.

As we are a publicly funded NHS organisation, we are kindly asking businesses to consider sponsoring the event. All funds raised will go directly towards celebrating our selfless staff at this event and a range of packages are available.
