Following the pandemic, we were amendment to get back out into the community after the pandemic to attend and host events and have more face-to-face conversations with you about what really matters to you. It is these conversations that have helped us build our future plans.
This past year we launched our new organisational strategy, which we have developed differently from those created in previous years. We have taken more time to listen to our staff and patients to understand what matters to them most, basing our priorities around these findings.
Our strategy explains where we want to be and how we will get there together. In this new booklet, we have demonstrated how our achievements align to how we improve everyday working lives, getting the basics right and looking out for each other.
From tackling big issues on podcasts and educating the next generation to cutting-edge new ambulance stations and digitising the front line, we have had an amazing journey. We would love you to take the time to have a read of our achievements that you have directly influenced.
Daren Mochrie QAM, Chief Executive says: “Our people really are the heart of the ambulance service and our achievements book celebrates those within team NWAS, our staff and volunteers, and the fantastic work that they have done. Their dedication, hard work and success, despite the many challenges they face, along with their innovation and forward thinking sets us apart.
“I hope you enjoy looking back on our key moments from 22/23 as much as I have.”
