This year’s Star Awards event was held at Bolton Stadium Hotel and was hosted by BBC Asian Network and Radio Presenter Nayha Ahmad. Entertainment included sounds of steel drummers and a live music set by the band Purple Cloud of Funk.

A massive 300 nominations were submitted recognising staff in all areas of the service and from across the North West, with the shortlisted staff being highlighted on the night in front of hundreds of their colleagues and accompanying guests.
