While we don’t have a timeframe for this to be announced yet, we know from your feedback that preparing the application process for this role can be challenging. This is why we are launching some support sessions this month to guide you through the process and help you understand what you need to give your application form the best chance of success.
The sessions will guide you through the entry requirements you need and cover the essentials for the role. Talking about a common stumbling block for many people in this process, Senior Workforce Development Manager Lisa Hill says, “Many people fall when it comes to having the necessary driving licence required in time for application submission. You must have your C1 provisional to be considered for the role at the application stage, and it can take up to six weeks to apply and get it back.
“This is why we are getting these sessions in early to help you prepare to apply effectively.”
Four sessions will be held on Microsoft Teams:
Tuesday 21 January – 17.30-19.00
Tuesday 28 January- 17.30-18.30
Wednesday 5 February – 17.30-19.00
Tuesday 11 February – 17.30-19.00

Working closely with paramedics, our EMTs form part of our emergency response to 999 incidents. You will attend emergencies, provide appropriate care and effective treatment for patients, and give care, reassurance, and support to the patient and relatives. You will need to be able to select and apply your skills, training, and equipment safely to achieve the best possible outcome for your patient.
It is an extremely fulfilling job where you can make a real difference in people’s lives. It offers variety and challenge, but the personal rewards are amazing.
