Mariam tells us why she joined our Patient and Public Panel (PPP). I wanted to get involved with the ambulance service to develop my understanding of different inequalities within health and provide a wider perspective on feedback and initiate a wider response to health improvements.”
With three different levels of involvement, our PPP allows our members to be flexible and choose their level of involvement at a level that suits them best to get involved and share feedback to improve our services.
This volunteer role is highly advocated by younger PPP members, with over 70 members aged 16-24 signed up. I It enables students to volunteer from the comfort of their phone and also an opportunity to learn various new skills from in-house training we provide..
Are you starting college or university this September or an existing student looking at volunteering?
