Every year, we receive lots of questions about when our emergency medical technician (EMT) apprentice roles will open for applications.

While we do not have a confirmed opening date yet, now is a great time to start preparing if you are interested in applying for a future role.

One important requirement for the apprenticeship is a C1 driving licence, which allows you to drive ambulances. To be considered for an interview, applicants must already have their C1 provisional licence in place at the point of application. Licences will be checked during the shortlisting stage.
