Congratulations to our Widening Access Team who were recently recognised at the annual Lancashire Skills Pledge Celebration and Awards.

The team won the Recruit Lancashire People Award for their continued tireless work supporting and inspiring individuals into employment and providing exemplar information advice and guidance to both job seekers and their supporters. They were also praised for having a presence within the community and sharing the opportunities we have to offer.

Reflecting on the achievement, Senior Workforce Development Manager Lisa Hill said: “The team has continued to promote opportunities within these communities via jobs fairs, careers fairs, live chat sessions, online support sessions for specific recruitment campaigns and providing 1:1 support to individuals to assist them in their aspirations. Well done team.”
