Nic was appointed to the board in January 2026 and is chair of the Audit Committee. He is also a non-executive director of Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust. 

After graduating from Manchester University, Nic trained as a chartered accountant. He spent the majority of his professional career with PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP and its predecessor firms, including more than 20 years as a partner specialising in audit, assurance and risk management.

More recently, Nic has served as a non-executive director in several sectors including the NHS.
