Give a forever thank you for generations to come
Your Will is one of the most important documents you’ll write. It’s a way to make sure the right people get whatever you would like to leave them.
Once your family and friends have been looked after, your Will could be an opportunity to support a charity that is close to your heart.
If you’re able to leave a gift in your Will we would be incredible grateful. This is a forever thank you that will help us to thrive and support the lives of our staff, volunteers, patients and communities for years to come.

Your generous gift will make a huge difference to our staff, volunteers, patients and communities.
Thanks to amazing supporters like you, we are able to provide funding to the North West Ambulance Service, above and beyond what NHS funding can provide. Your support could be the difference between life and death by funding community defibrillators, basic lifesaving skills and CPR awareness sessions, projects and enhancements at our sites across the North West, wellbeing initiatives for our staff ad volunteers, and medical training or equipment for our staff and volunteers.
There are three main types of gift you can leave in your Will:
- A share of your estate – This is a percentage of your estate after all other gifts and expenses have been paid. You can choose what size of percentage you wish to leave.
- A specific sum – This is a fixed amount of money which of you set aside. This is paid out before the residue of your estate is calculated.
- A specific gift – This is a particular valuable item, such as property, shares or jewellery.
Any gifts left to charities are exempt from Inheritance Tax. On top of that, sometimes by including a gift to a charity you can reduce the tax on everything else you leave behind. But Inheritance Tax is a complex and often changing area of law, so we advise you visit www.gov.uk/inheritance-tax for all the latest information and speak to a professional.
No, but we would love to hear if you’ve left a gift in your Will to us, so that we can thank you. You can let us know by contacting [email protected].
